What is Outpatient Rehab?
Outpatient rehabilitation is a form of mental health treatment that consists of individual and group therapy that typically last 10-12 hours per week. The benefit of outpatient rehab (OP) is that you are receiving the services provided and continuing to build your recovery foundation, while also spending more time building a life outside of treatment. The main difference between intensive outpatient (IOP) and outpatient (OP) treatment is that OP generally offers more flexible scheduling. Outpatient rehab at Divinity Recovery includes all of the previous elements of IOP, such as individual and group therapy, continued teaching of coping strategies, community based activities, stress reduction and emotional regulation. However, this program is considered less intensive and is meant to be a catalyst into your life beyond treatment.
How Does Outpatient Rehab Aid In the Recovery Process?
Outpatient treatment allows clients to maintain commitments to work, family, education and personal commitments, while still having the structure and sense of community provided by outpatient. With in-person and telehealth options available, our outpatient rehab is ideal for learning to incorporate recovery into your everyday life.
